Hi, I’m Sarah Nolan, MT-BC — a Board-Certified Music Therapist based in Los Angeles.

I discovered music therapy a few years after earning my degree in Music Business. While I loved performing, I always knew I wanted to combine my passion for music with meaningful, human-centered work. Music therapy became that bridge.

Through my clinical training and work in medical settings, I found a deeper calling: supporting individuals and families during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives — navigating new diagnoses, chronic or terminal illness, anticipatory grief, and profound life transitions. In those spaces, music becomes comfort, expression, and connection.

Over the years, I’ve learned that everyone has a story to tell. What we see on the surface is only a snapshot. When we slow down and truly listen, we create space for real human connection.  At Inner Song, my mission is to serve as a vessel for others to explore and share their stories through the power of music.

When I’m not practicing music therapy or performing, you can often find me spending time with my dogs, going to the gym, dancing, or camping in the woods.Â

I look forward to hearing from you.Â
